How much can I put in my dumpster?2022-08-08T18:13:20+00:00

You can fill the dumpster, as long as it doesn’t go beyond the rim of your container. If you overfill it, you’ll have to remove the excess until it is level with the rim. Save yourself time and money and don’t overfill! If you are afraid there won’t be enough room, consider ordering a larger size to avoid any penalties.

Will the dumpster damage my pavement?2022-06-13T19:37:29+00:00

Our drivers are professionals and take every measure to avoid the possibility of damaging your pavement. Our trucks lower the dumpster with remarkable control, setting it gently on the ground. Our record of success in preventing damage to your pavement is quite low. If you are concerned, you can increase your pavement protection by placing a sheet of plywood before we lower the dumpster onto your pavement. This small measure will prevent minor surface scratches.

No pavement damage

A good rule of thumb is, if you can throw it out in your trash can you can throw it in the dumpster. Things like old blankets, toys, curtains, rugs and similar non-organic trash can all be put in a dumpster. While you can throw in things like cardboard or old books, we urge you to sort and recycle those materials instead to help out the environment.

Per New Jersey DEP regulations, all hazardous materials are prohibited from going into the dumpster. This includes materials that can be toxic or pose a safety hazard,  including wet paint, asbestos, sealed tanks, or any combustibles.  This not only helps protect our hard working men and women, it helps our environment.

Always remember, when in doubt, give Rovic Transport a call. We are always happy to answer any questions you may have. Don’t risk the chance of getting hit with extra fees or causing harm to others.
